LISTEN: Goldfrapp Unveil New Single "Anymore" and Announce Forthcoming Album ‘Silver Eye’

January 23, 2017 Justin Chadwick

This happy Monday just got a whole lot happier here at Albumism HQ with the news that dynamic UK duo Goldfrapp have officially announced the March 31st release of their seventh studio album, Silver Eye. The highly-anticipated follow-up to Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory’s lush, minimalist, and criminally underappreciated Tales of Us (2013), the forthcoming long player “belongs more to the electronic world of Black Cherry and Supernature” according to the group, referencing their masterful back-to-back albums released in 2003 and 2005 respectively. “We've worked with some fantastic people on this album and we're really excited to share it with you,” the pair add.

As a sneak peek into the 10-track affair, Goldfrapp have unveiled an intoxicating slice of exquisite electro-pop in the form of lead single “Anymore” today, which can be streamed in full below. Enjoy and stay tuned for the new album Silver Eye this March.

[UPDATE (2/9): Watch the newly released video for "Anymore" below.]
